About Our Program:
At O.U.R. Youth CDC, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our Mental Health Program is designed to provide comprehensive mental health support for youth. We focus on building resilience, fostering personal growth, and promoting mental well-being.
What We Offer:
O.U.R. Youth specialized in the following Mental Health Disorders
Anxiety Disorder - This is a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of worry, anxiety, or fear that are strong enough to interfere with one's daily activities. It is the most common mental health concern in the United States. Over 40 million adults have an anxiety disorder. In addition, anxiety among children is on the rise as the percentage has increased, approximately 10% of children between the ages of 3-10 are diagnosed with anxiety.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) -
This is a neurological condition characterized by difficulty focusing, sitting still, retaining information, and managing impulses. In the United States, an estimated 22 million people have ADHD.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) - OCD is characterized by recurrent episodes of intrusive, irrational beliefs and worries (obsession) that trigger repetitive actions. People with OCD commit compulsive acts to minimize intrusive thoughts, but ritualistic behaviors recur.
